Hello there.
My name is Joanna. I run, I read, and I write things. This is my website.
Welcome.
I’m currently based in Brooklyn, but my heart is in Southern Appalachia.
After graduating from North Carolina State University with degrees in zoology and creative writing, I took the logical next step and moved to a remote mountain holler to pursue a full-time professional running career. Four years later, I reintegrated with society by starting a graduate degree in science journalism at NYU.
